NAAYIKA
Every woman is a Naayika—a heroine of her own story, draped in elegance and woven with strength.
Some dreams begin as quiet whispers in the heart, waiting for the right moment to be named. For me, that dream was Naayika.
I’m Nimmy Arungopan—a classical dancer trained in Kuchipudi, a content creator, and once a corporate professional who chose to follow her passion. From the world of TV hosting to creating stories through my digital platforms, I’ve always believed in the power of self-expression. Naayika is the most personal chapter of that journey yet.
Born on March 6th, 2025, Naayika grew from my love for India’s timeless traditions and the beauty of handloom sarees. At Naayika, we carefully source handwoven sarees directly from skilled artisans across India, ensuring that each piece reflects the legacy of generations and the artistry of countless dedicated hands.
Every saree we bring to you is more than just a garment—it’s a story, a piece of heritage, and a symbol of grace and resilience. From the opulent weaves of Kanchipuram to the delicate artistry of Banaras, we honour India’s rich handloom heritage and the craftspeople who keep these traditions alive.
At Naayika, we believe that every woman is the heroine of her own story, shining with confidence, independence, and the courage to be herself. We see true elegance as a balance of grace and inner strength. We stay true to our roots and the authenticity of our craft, valuing artistry, quality, and meticulous attention to detail in every saree we curate. We believe beauty should always be kind—to the artisans, to our customers, and to the earth. Each saree we share carries the stories of tradition woven into modern life, celebrating cultural pride while embracing contemporary elegance. Above all, we walk this journey with deep gratitude for every woman who chooses Naayika and becomes part of our story.
Naayika isn’t just about sarees—it’s about celebrating the spirit within every woman. And always remember: You are the Naayika of your own story.
With love,
Nimmy Arungopan
